"When I first arrived in Australia, luckily a friend took me to a garment factory. After working there for a while, I felt that doing so I could not look after my children properly. I brought work home and did this sewing work for twenty years... I tried my best as a Vietnamese mother so that my children were fed and could go to school. That is a dream of every mother's. Apart from the sewing to make a living, I spent the rest of my time playing with the children and being their friend so that they would have the warm love of a mother to prepare them for life."
